The position will be located in Mumbai reporting to the India Synthetic Prime Brokerage Environment Management Lead. This position provides the opportunity to join a high-profile growth business area within the Global Prime Services group. A key focus of the role will be to support business functions to identify and implement scalability and process improvement initiatives to enable delivery of product releases globally. Job Description Key Responsibilities covered by these areas: The JP Morgan Equity Finance IT group is looking to hire a highly motivated experienced build/ release management resource to play a key part in application developement on their succesful Portfolio Swap system. A key part of the Portfolio Swaps function is an ability to work closely with other teams in partnership - this will be critical to the success of this role. Candidates should possess technical skills and should be experiences in basics of UNIX Shell Scripting / tooling. It is mandatory to have worked in a similar role of build management & have hands on experience with various SCM tools. The candidate should have a positive can-do attitude and have an ability to work well across a broader global team. The successful candidate should have excellent written and oral communication skills as they will be required to work with people across multiple global offices. An ability to work with tight deadlines is required for success in this role. The ideal candidate should have an understanding of Portfolio Swaps; knowledge of Prime Brokerage and Stock Lending is highly desirable although not essential. You will be required to work directly with technology & business partners in the Prime and Equities organization including Product Development, AD teams across locations and other JPMorgan functional areas to deliver competitive, efficient, and scalable product solutions. Key Deliverables: Support the full system development lifecycle Manage the general health of the development environment Perform maintenance and enhancements to existing applications Implement controls & tracking of release related items Candidates should note that this list is not exhaustive and duties are liable to change from time to time in line with the needs of the department.
