Job description:
Roles Responsibilities
Service Desk Associates
1. Record: Record the Incidents/Service/Support Request and collect the user and Service/Support Request information.
2. Remote Support: Take remote control and provide resolution.
3. Track: Track the progress of the Service/Support Request.
4. Update: Update user about the Service/Support Request status.
5. Escalate: Escalate the Service/Support Request to next level of support.
6. Manage SLA: Maintain SLA for respective category.
7. Close: Close the Service/Support Request after resolution and update in the system.
8. End-user Satisfaction: Capture End-users satisfaction level post Incident closure through automated Satisfaction Questionnaire.
9. Report: Prepare periodic (weekly/monthly) reports.
10. Other activities
Vendor coordination for IT Infrastructure related issues.
Interact with On-Call support Team and assign Task-Lists.
Prepare and maintain inventory of IT assets( Hardware & Software)
Desktop Support Engineer-L1
1. Addressing the user Desktop/Laptops support related issues/queries.
2. System administration on Desktop/Laptop including Install, Maintain, Upgrade and General Support.
3. Addressing OS related issues and troubleshooting
4. Anti-virus installation on user Desktop/Laptop.
5. Support for Messaging server and Email configuration on users Desktop/Laptop.
6. Basic Level of support for Local Area Network (LAN) and Wide Area Network (WAN) elements.
7. Managing the Helpdesk.
8. Installing printer driver and addressing related issues.
Support for peripherals like Printers, Scanners etc.
